Advising Appointments: At ISSS Storrs advising services are offered by appointment. You can schedule an appointment to meet with your ISSS advisor at the Storrs campus virtually or in person. You have an assigned ISSS advisor based on your campus and program of study. Find your advisor here.

Drop-in Questions - No Appointment Needed: Do you have a quick immigration question that doesn't require a full appointment? ISSS advisors are available at CISS on Storrs campus, Monday - Thursday from 1:30-3:30 p.m. for drop-in questions with no appointment necessary.
Topics that may still require an appointment:
- Applying for OPT/working in the U.S.
- Changing visa type
- Complicated immigration scenarios

ISSS advisors are available in-person on a drop-in basis at the Stamford, Law and GBLC campuses with no appointment needed, during scheduled hours.

ISSS offices and staff are not based at the UConn Avery Point and Waterbury campuses. UConn Waterbury campus students should contact Lulu Dong, lulu.dong@uconn.edu with immigration questions, international advising, or to arrange for travel signatures. Students and exchange visitors at UConn Avery Point can meet with an ISSS advisor when they visit campus, which is usually one time per semester.
