Who does Nadine advise? All students in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, MS Data Science and MEM programs. Nadine also advises all students in the humanities Literatures Cultures and Languages, History, English, Philosophy as well as students in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and incoming exchange students at the Storrs campus, and is a point of contact for sponsored J-1 students (e.g. Fulbright, USAID, IREX) within the departments she advises.

In August 2017, Nadine joined ISSS again as an International Adviser. Prior to rejoining UConn ISSS, she was an Assistant Director at the International Center for Students and Scholars, University of Bridgeport, International Adviser for the UConn Regional Campuses and SEVIS Coordinator at the International Services Office, University of New Haven. Nadine is a UConn alumna and has come back to her home! Nadine has been in the F1/J1 immigration field since May 2009 and has extensive international experience, including studying in Canada, Spain and France, touring India, Algeria, Germany and England, volunteering in Morocco and Puerto Rico, and is trilingual in Spanish, French and English. Her diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds help support what we do as Global Affairs. Nadine holds a B.A. in Spanish and French, Minor in International Studies from the University of Connecticut and a M.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport.
