ISSS Book Club

ISSS Winter Book Club - Dec. 21, Dec. 28, and Jan. 4, 2021 from 2 pm - 3 pm

This winter we will be reading three short stories from The Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri.  All meetings will take place from 2:00-3:00pm. You can join one, two or all of the meetings. Please read the story before the meeting and be prepared to discuss. This is a fun way to pass the time over break, “see” people, and enjoy some pleasure reading.

  • Monday, December 21- Interpreter of Maladies
  • Monday, December 28- Mrs. Sen’s
  • Monday January 4- This Blessed House

The book is available from the UConn library here. You can also visit your local library to get a copy. If you are not able to find the book, please contact Sarah at Sarah.manning@uconn.edu.  Please fill out this signup sheet to join: https://isssportal.uconn.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=OneStep.Apply&Program_ID=10076
