Front Office Coordinator

I’m originally from Colombia and I first came to this country in 2007. I gained a broad area of life experience through several work and travel programs. I have spent time in Yellowstone National Park, San Diego, and New York utilizing exchange programs. I also did another exchange program in Sweden, and was lucky enough to travel all around Europe. I enjoyed learning about many cultures. I decided to come back to the USA for good in 2011.

Through my experiences, I found a passion within the Service Industry. I pursued an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management at the Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. After graduating I moved here to Connecticut following my partner who is a proud member of the US Air Force.

My previous job was for the Foxwoods Resort Casino, where I was a Front Office Shift Manager. Although most of my career has been in the hotel industry, I’m very excited to now be building my career here at UConn helping people.
